Frequently Asked Questions About Chemistry Courses

Can I get chemistry credit for CHEM 1053 Chemistry and Our World?

Credit can be obtained for Chemistry and Our World as a science elective only. The course cannot be used towards your chemistry requirements (major or minor). You also cannot obtain credit for both CHEM 1053 and CHEM 2103 Physical Chemistry 1: Chemical Thermodynamics.

Can I get chemistry credit for CHEM 3913 and/or CHEM 3923 (Research Projects)?

Credit can be obtained for CHEM 3913 Research Project 1 and CHEM 3923 Research Project 2 as science electives only for the chemistry honours program.
